Neurodivergent


A series of paintings inspired by a recent ADHD diagnosis offers a powerful and personal glimpse into the complexity of the neurodivergent mind. Each piece reflects the unique ways thoughts, emotions, and sensory experiences intertwine, creating a vibrant and dynamic visual narrative. The art captures the chaos and beauty of living with ADHD—swirling colors, layered textures, and fragmented patterns that mirror the mind’s constant motion and heightened perception. This collection does not seek to define or simplify the ADHD experience but instead celebrates the diverse and intricate ways neurodivergent individuals process the world around them. Añoranza

As I introduce my new painting series, 'Añoranza,' I am reminded of the emotions that sparked its creation. The title, which translates to 'longing' in English, captures the bittersweet feelings that settle in during this time of year.

For me, the holiday season is a reminder of the warmth and love of family, traditions, and sunnier days. As the temperatures drop, I find myself yearning for the vibrant colors and radiant light of warmer climates. The oranges, pinks, and greens that dominate my palette are a deliberate nod to the lush landscapes and sunsets that I miss, while the blues evoke the calmness and serenity of a warm summer sky.
